2015
Our journey, like that of many other startups, began in the metaphorical garage, or in our case, the living room of our apartment in Hamburg.
2016
In 2016, we found an office space that met all our requirements: the vibrant and diverse neighborhood of St. Georg and ample space to explore new ideas. Upon moving in, we purchased some used boxcars to help fill the space.
2017
In 2017, we were presented with a remarkable opportunity: the chance to acquaint ourselves with one of Germany's most intriguing metalworking establishments – Arnold AG to start a joint venture to produce custom metal furniture.
2018
Sven, one of our founders, felt the urge to relocate, prompting him to leave beautiful Hamburg and open a branch in Cologne. As a result, Makery is now represented in two of the most beautiful cities in Germany. Sven found a great location in the heart of Cologne's epicenter as a subtenant in the offices of Grosse 8, a renowned animation and exhibition design studio.
2024
In 2024 we moved our Hamburg Office to a more vibrant part of the city right in the heart of the Sternschanze.
Our main objective is to combine exceptional aesthetics, user-centric ergonomics, and cutting-edge technologies to create captivating and engaging products.
